Alex Knowland Managing Director

Alex is a Managing Director at WhiteHorse Capital, where he leads Specialty Finance originations. He is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing asset-backed financings across the firm's specialty finance strategy.

Alex has over a decade of experience in structured credit, asset-backed finance, and capital markets. His background spans the full spectrum of specialty finance, including asset-based credit facilities, NAV facilities, consumer and commercial receivables, and lender finance. Prior to joining WhiteHorse, Alex was a Managing Director at Comvest Partners, where he served as origination lead for the asset-backed finance strategy across lower middle and upper middle market specialty finance companies. Alex’s prior experience includes roles at Encina Capital Partners, Credigy Investments, and J.P. Morgan.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Louisville.
