Irene Zou Principal

Irene is a Principal in H.I.G.’s Advantage Fund and is based in the New York office. She is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth strategies.

Irene has over a decade of experience in private equity and M&A across a broad range of industries, including business services, industrials, consumer, and healthcare. Prior to joining H.I.G., she was a Principal at Apax Partners where she focused on investments in business and consumer services. Irene began her career in consulting at McKinsey & Company.

Irene earned her undergraduate degree, with high honors, from the University of California, Berkeley, and her M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
