Funambol Launches New Customer Web PortalCompany also debuts new mobile open source community help system

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – May 12, 2009 – Funambol, the leading provider of mobile open source cloud sync and push email, today announced the immediate availability of a new customer portal. The new portal, pictured below, provides commercial users with a centralized site to:

  • receive important company announcements and product notifications
  • download commercial software releases and updates
  • submit trouble tickets, with supporting information and files, and track their status
  • search a software knowledgebase
  • check and update account information

The portal is available to customers of the company’s Carrier Edition software. A separate communication will be provided shortly to customers with their portal access information.

Funambol also today launched a new help system that is freely available to everyone in its mobile open source community. It includes a searchable knowledgebase of technical support issues and FAQs answered by the Funambol support team. Users that cannot find an answer in the existing FAQs can submit a new question. The help system is available at https://help.forge.funambol.org/.
