Giuseppe Mirante Joins H.I.G. Capital as Managing Director

LONDON – March 9, 2016 – H.I.G. Capital, a leading global private equity investment firm with €18 billion of equity capital under management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Giuseppe Mirante as Managing Director of Bayside Capital, the distressed debt and special situations affiliate of H.I.G. Capital. He will be based in London.

Giuseppe has over 15 years of private equity and distressed debt experience in Europe. Prior to joining Bayside, Giuseppe was Head of Distressed and Loan Research at BNP Paribas in London. Previously, Giuseppe was a European credit and distressed analyst at Cyrus Capital and Trafalgar Asset Managers. He also co-founded and ran Tigon Capital, an advisory company for private equity and credit funds. He is fluent in German, Italian, Spanish and French and holds an MBA from Columbia University.
