H.I.G. Bayside Capital Promotes Andrew Scotland to Co-Head of Special Situations Debt in Europe

LONDON – February 10, 2020 – H.I.G. Bayside Capital (“Bayside”), the distressed debt and special situation affiliate of H.I.G. Capital (“H.I.G.”), a leading global private equity investment firm with over €31 billion of equity capital under management, is pleased to announce the promotion of Andrew Scotland to Co-Head of the firm’s European special situations debt activities. Andrew will co-head alongside Bayside Managing Director Duncan Priston.

Andrew has over twenty-two years of investment banking and distressed investment experience. He previously worked as a Managing Director in RBS’s Special Situations Group for more than six years, where he was focused on European distressed investments.
