WhiteHorse Capital Expands U.S. Direct Lending Team with the Addition of Kimberly Massa as Managing Director and Peter McLaughlin as Principal

STAMFORD, CT – February 16, 2017 – WhiteHorse Capital (“WhiteHorse”) announced the expansion of its direct lending team with the addition of Kimberly Massa as a Managing Director and Peter McLaughlin as a Principal. WhiteHorse is the direct lending affiliate of H.I.G. Capital, a leading global private equity and alternative assets investment firm with $21 billion of equity capital under management.

Kimberly, based out of Stamford, will focus on credit underwriting across the WhiteHorse platform. Peter will lead WhiteHorse’s Midwest originations out of Chicago and will focus on both sponsor and non-sponsor originations.

Prior to WhiteHorse, Kimberly was the Chief Credit Officer for Telecom, Media and Technology at GE where she managed a portfolio of accounts with over $4 billion of credit exposure. Previously, she was a Managing Director for Antares Capital. Peter is joining WhiteHorse from Medley Capital where he originated, executed and managed middle market loans. He has more than 15 years of experience in middle market private equity, investment banking and lending.
