Adam Schimel is a Managing Director and Co-Head of H.I.G. Bayside, U.S. Adam has led several successful investments for the firm and currently sits on the Investment Committee for the H.I.G. Bayside U.S. funds.

Adam has more than 20 years of credit and special situations investment experience. Before joining H.I.G. Bayside, Adam was at Lindsay Goldberg, a middle-market private equity investment firm. In this role, he was responsible for investment analysis and working closely with the management of portfolio companies to execute strategic initiatives. Prior to Lindsay Goldberg, Adam worked in the leveraged finance group at Goldman Sachs.

Adam received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University.
