Alex is a Principal at H.I.G. Realty, based in the firm’s Chicago office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing, and post-closing execution.

Alex has over a decade of experience in real estate investment. Prior to joining H.I.G., Alex was a Vice President in the investments group at CIM Group, where he was responsible for the origination and execution of equity and debt investments. Before CIM Group, he worked in acquisitions and asset management at Brookfield Asset Management.

Alex holds a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
