Brian Goldman is a Managing Director in WhiteHorse Capital’s New York office. He is involved in all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction structuring, and execution.

Brian has over 20 years of credit investing experience and has executed investments across a wide range of industries for both sponsored and non-sponsored transactions. Prior to joining WhiteHorse, Brian was a Partner at Ares Management where he spent 18 years in the Credit Group and was responsible for originating and executing both sponsored and non-sponsored transactions for the US Direct Lending business. Before joining Ares, Brian was in the Principal Investment Area at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on the firm’s Mezzanine investment strategy. Brian’s prior experience includes roles with Apax Partners and Merrill Lynch.

Brian received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
