Clark Jeffries Managing Director and Global Head of Insurance

Clark Jeffries is a Managing Director and Global Head of Insurance based in H.I.G.’s Miami office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction execution, and ongoing management of H.I.G.’s strategic investments in the insurance sector, as well as the development of capital efficient investment products for insurance investors.

Clark has nearly two decades of experience in investment management, reinsurance, and investment banking. Prior to joining H.I.G., Clark was the Chief Investment Officer of Somerset Reinsurance Limited. He was previously a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America. Clark began his career in the investment banking division of Citigroup.

Clark earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, with Honors, from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
