Dominik Böhm Principal

Dominik is a Principal in H.I.G. Europe’s Hamburg office, where he focuses on LBO and growth equity investments, in particular in the TMT and industrials sectors.

Dominik is responsible for all aspects of the investment process and represents H.I.G. on the board of several portfolio companies.

Prior to joining H.I.G., he worked for six years with McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager. As part of the Corporate Finance, Private Equity and Restructuring Practice he advised various corporates and medium-sized companies and supported several M&A transactions. Before McKinsey & Company, Dominik developed software for small and medium-sized companies on a freelance basis.

Dominik earned an M.B.A., with distinction, from INSEAD in France and Singapore and studied at the University of Münster, Germany, and at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid obtaining a dual diploma degree in mathematics and computer science.
