Emily Rumgay Senior Vice President & Head of U.S. Human Resources

Emily Rumgay is a Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. Human Resources, based in H.I.G.’s New York office. She is responsible for leading the Human Resources function, as H.I.G. continues to invest in its people and support the firm’s continued growth. Emily brings more than 25 years of global human resources and transformation experience.

Prior to joining H.I.G, Emily served as Head of Human Resources, North America at ZEISS, where she led the HR function across North America and drove initiatives focused on organizational effectiveness, colleague experience, and operational excellence. Prior to ZEISS, Emily spent over two decades at Marsh, driving large-scale HR transformation, Workday implementation, and global integration programs across multiple regions.

Emily earned her double degree in Bachelor of Commerce & Bachelor of Science, as well as a Diploma in Japanese from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
