Ian Chiang Principal

Ian is a Principal in H.I.G.’s Middle Market Fund based in the San Francisco office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth and operational strategies.

Ian has over a decade of private equity investing and M&A experience. Prior to joining H.I.G., he worked at J.P. Morgan, focusing on M&A transactions, capital raises, and other strategic initiatives.

Ian received his undergraduate degree from Rice University.
