Matt is a Principal at H.I.G.’s New York office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth and operational initiatives.

Matt has more than 10 years of experience in private equity and M&A. Matt has executed investments across several industries, including industrials, chemicals, business and tech-enabled services, and healthcare.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Matt worked at SK Capital and Court Square Capital. He began his career in investment banking at Lazard Freres & Co.

Matt earned a B.S. in Economics from Trinity College.
