Nishant Nayyar Managing Director

Nishant is a Managing Director in H.I.G.’s European Middle Market team based in H.I.G.'s London office where he leads H.I.G.’s technology and telecom investment efforts across Europe.

Nishant is responsible for all key aspects of the private investment transaction process including deal origination, transaction structuring and negotiating, and post-closing portfolio company oversight. He has over 14 years of private equity experience investing across the technology and business services sectors including tech enabled services, telecoms, software, and business services.

Prior to H.I.G., he was a Principal at Apax Partners where he spent 10 years on the TMT industry and led several successful investments. Before that, Nishant was a private equity investor at Warburg Pincus. Nishant began his career as a consultant at Bain & Co. Nishant received his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from Williams College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
