Paolo Cola Director

Paolo is a Director in the London office of H.I.G. Bayside Capital, where he focuses on corporate stressed and distressed credit and special situations in Europe. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, from origination and research to structuring, execution, and portfolio monitoring.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Paolo worked in the Investment Banking Division of Jefferies in London, where he advised clients in the healthcare sector on M&A, equity, and debt transactions. He started his career at Houlihan Lokey in the Financial and Valuation Advisory team.

Paolo earned his B.Sc. in Economics and Business Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and his M.Sc. in Finance and Private Equity from The London School of Economics and Political Science in London.
