Rodrigo Azevedo Principal

Rodrigo is a Principal based in H.I.G.’s Rio de Janeiro office, where he focuses on investment transaction processes, including deal origination, transaction structuring and negotiating, and post-closing portfolio company oversight. Rodrigo is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.

Rodrigo has 15 years of experience in the investment industry, with over 10 years in private equity. Prior to joining H.I.G., Rodrigo worked for Dynamo, a public equity fund with over R$15 billion under management. Earlier in his career, he was an analyst in illiquid investments at Icatu, a family office based in Rio.

Rodrigo earned a B.A. degree from Ibmec-RJ with an extension from École de Management de Strasbourg, France. Rodrigo is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
