Stefan Tintea Principal

Stefan Tintea is a Principal in H.I.G.’s New York office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction execution, and ongoing management of H.I.G.’s strategic investments in the insurance sector.

Prior to joining H.I.G., he was a Principal on the investment team at Two Sigma, where he focused on evaluating and executing private investments in the financial services sector and managing portfolio company investments. He was previously a senior member of the investment team at Atlas Merchant Capital. Stefan began his career in Citi’s investment banking division, where he worked in the Financial Institutions and Mergers & Acquisitions groups.

Stefan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University, cum laude with high honors.
