Stephen Deal Principal

Stephen is a Principal in H.I.G.’s LBO Fund based in the Miami office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth and operational initiatives.

Stephen has over a decade of experience in private equity and M&A across a wide range of industries, with a focus on the industrials and business services sectors. Prior to joining H.I.G., Stephen worked in investment banking at Deloitte Corporate Finance, where he advised clients on buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.

Stephen earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
