Younghee Choi Head of Asia

Younghee Choi is Head of Asia for H.I.G.’s Capital Formation Group based in the firm’s Hong Kong office. She is responsible for leading H.I.G.’s capital formation and investor relations activities across Asia and expanding the firm’s relationships with institutional investors throughout the region.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Younghee spent 15 years at Blackstone, most recently serving as a Senior Managing Director, Head of Korea for Blackstone’s Institutional Client team. During her tenure, she was responsible for developing and managing relationships with leading institutional investors in Korea and raising capital across a broad range of investment strategies, including Private Equity, Credit, Infrastructure, Secondaries, and Real Estate.

Younghee earned a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.
